Best Remix Production Award – BoyMartel for remix of “Be There” by Mad Hearts
Presented by Prism Sound, awarded to the producer and remix track that came top in the technical side of things as well as scoring highest overall. The judges looked at the skills shown in sound design and dynamics of the mix (‘mix’ being the piece as a whole). Both the winning producer and their original artist are presented with a Prism Sound Lyra interface. ACS Custom also provides both with custom-made ear monitors.
Best Remix Arrangement Award – DaftFader for remix of “The Island” by Jacqueline Rolston
Presented by judge Matt Schwartz. Song structure, how it fits together as a whole. How it progresses, moves from one section to another (does it flow?), ability to hold the listeners attention.
The producer is given ACS Custom ear protection and both original artist and producer receive an article and review with our media partners. Both original track and remix will be offered a single track publishing deal.

Presented by judge Estelle Rubio. Bucking the trends, creating individual style, non-conformism!

Most Imaginative Remix Award – Loomis for remix of “Streetlights” by David Green
Presented by project supporter Wolfgang Flur (ex-Kraftwerk). The most surprising/interesting/sympathetic use of original song.
The producer is given ACS Custom ear protection and both original artist and producer receive an article and review with our media partners. Both original track and remix will be offered a single track publishing deal.
Public Choice Award – Chemikal Recipe for remix of “Once Bitten (Never Enough)” by Lauren Brombert
Presented by judge Krystal Roxx. The one the public voted on!
The producer is given ACS Custom ear protection and both original artist and producer receive an article and review with our media partners. Both original track and remix will be offered a single track publishing deal, and the remix track is included on the album release.
Album Remix Tracks
Presented by Jono Heale from ACS Custom, judge Hugh Hardie (Hospital Records) and judge Chris Read from WhoSampled.com. These are the tracks that came up top through the combined judges scores. They will be released on the B-Side Project annual digital album on B-Side Recordings through Republic of Music. The original artists and remix producers will receive equal split revenue from the record sales. All producers receive ACS ear protection.
